Btw, the records serialisation problem can be fixed by introducing

non-generative record types, as specified in srfi 76. It's something we

considered in the past but rejected because of the additional burden it

places on developers, i.e. having to specify the guids. However, now

that srfi 76 is out we perhaps should bite the bullet and implement

non-generative records in sisc.
